Terms of Use

Last updated: September 2026

These terms apply when you visit the Shadowrocket Starter Guide, read the official manual, or use the site’s navigation. Read them before following a tutorial to change your device or configuration.

1. About this site and its scope

This is the Shadowrocket official website and manual. It provides guidance on verifying the genuine app, purchasing and installing it, importing existing configurations, understanding rules, and troubleshooting. These terms govern access to and use of this site’s content. They do not replace the app’s license, App Store transaction rules, or any agreement between you and your service provider.

Reading the instructions does not mean your device meets the requirements to run the app. Before taking action, check your current system, the app’s interface, and your existing configuration. Interface locations may vary; follow what you see in the app. For purchase, system requirements, and compatibility details, refer to the App Store listing.

2. App purchases and service boundaries

Shadowrocket is a closed-source commercial app developed by Shadow Launch Technology Limited and distributed exclusively on Apple platforms, primarily for use on iPhone and iPad. The App Store is the only place to get the app. Purchases, payments, refunds, and restoring purchases are handled under the App Store listing and Apple’s applicable policies. This site does not process payments.

A one-time purchase of the app does not include a network service plan. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend proxy servers or subscription services. Import instructions assume you already have your own subscription or server details. Check your access rights, service period, and connection quality under your agreement with the provider. See the Get the app page for details on the genuine app and purchasing it.

3. Responsible use and information security

You must comply with the laws and regulations that apply where you are located and to your activities, as well as the rules of any network, employer, or organization you access. Do not use this site’s content or the app for unlawful purposes, to infringe others’ rights, to access systems without permission, or to disrupt normal network operations. Technical guidance does not determine whether any particular use is lawful.

You are responsible for confirming that you have the legal right to use any subscription, server, or configuration you import. Subscription URLs, access credentials, and logs may contain sensitive information; store them securely and redact them before sharing issue reports. Before changing rules or importing a configuration, keep a recoverable copy and be aware that a configuration may change how requests are routed.

4. Content suitability and limitation of liability

This manual covers common use cases, not every device state, network condition, or configuration combination. This site does not guarantee the ongoing availability of the website, the app, or any network service you already use, or that any setting will resolve every connection issue. The app is sold on the App Store; availability and transaction outcomes are determined by the store.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not liable for data loss or related losses resulting from following these instructions, changing configurations, network outages, or failing to keep a backup. Assess the potential impact before proceeding, and make changes one at a time. If something goes wrong, stop making repeated changes and restore a configuration known to work. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or diminishes your statutory consumer rights.

5. Trademarks and intellectual property

The Shadowrocket trademark, app, and related software rights belong to its developer or the respective rights holders. Official icons and screenshots shown on this site are used to identify the product and explain its use. Visiting this site does not grant permission to use any trademark, software, or image.

Original text, page designs, and code on this site are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. When quoting, credit the source and stay within the legally permitted scope. Do not remove attribution and present the material as your own, or alter instructions in a way that misleads readers about the product’s capabilities. Any reproduction, distribution, or other use must comply with the relevant rights holder’s license terms.

6. Changes to these terms and guidance

These terms may be updated to reflect changes to site content, legal requirements, or operating practices. Revised terms will be published on this page, and the month shown as the last update will be changed. Revisions apply to use from the date they are published and do not retroactively diminish rights you have already acquired under applicable law.

Review the current terms before continuing to use the site. If you do not agree, stop accessing or using the relevant content. For help with an operation or to check an instruction, first visit the usage guide for the relevant steps, then use the troubleshooting manual to organize the issue by symptom. Avoid sharing subscription URLs or account details in public reports.
